Milan is the closest major airport, with a drive of around 2 hours or a 3.5-hour train to Santa Margherita.
If you’re able to fly into Genoa (50 min drive) or Pisa (1 hr 45 min drive), they’re closer but smaller airports and therefore have less flight options.
For transfers, Chloe recommends Blacklane for easy to book, decent cars and drivers. You can also book transfers via Booking.com — generally more affordable, but the service can be a bit hit or miss.

We recommend arriving no later than midday on July 9th, to settle in and be ready for the festivities that evening.
If you're flying in from Australia (or anywhere far!), you might want to give yourself a bit more time to shake off the jet lag and ease into the Italian pace of life.
As for leaving — even if you’re not planning to stick around for the recovery day on the 11th, we’d really love if you didn’t jet off that day.
No one enjoys a big night with a travel day looming and we want you to be fully present, relaxed, and able to enjoy every moment of the wedding without thinking about check-out times or early trains.
So if you can, give yourself the gift of a slow morning-after and plan to head off no earlier than July 12th.

Not technically — but we’d really love it if you did!
If you're looking elsewhere, please stay no further than Portofino or on a boat nearby (though we might have boat envy!). We have provided some excellent recommendations that will be convenient for you to attend all events.
Anywhere that is walking distance to the venues is best so we can soak up all the moments together.

In early July, temperatures are typically 26–31°C, warm and sunny with a coastal breeze.

As much as we’d love to include everyone, we’re keeping the wedding to our closest family and friends. For this reason, we’re only able to include those listed on the invitation.

We’ve got a fabulous planner who’ll be available for all things wedding-related. Her contact details and more info will be shared soon.
